Max Fox Electrical and Inland Solar have a fully equipped workshop at 75 Gunnedah Road in Tamworth. Our workshop has trained electricians able to provide range of repairs and servicing for motors, electrical tools and pumps. We also manufacture a range of equipment on site.
Workshop services include:
- Pump repairs for all brands of rural, domestic and commercial pumping equipment
- Gerni pressure cleaners (repairs, servicing and warranty repairs on all models)
- Rewinds for electric motors, AC and DC equipment
- Electric motor reconditioning
- Pumping equipment reconditioning
- Electric motor repairs for all brands (AC and DC power)
- Power tool repairs
- Electrical testing and tagging
We also manufacture electrical motor control switchboards.
Testing and Tagging of Electrical Equipment
All electrical equipment needs to be tested and tagged at the appropriate intervals to comply with current WorkCover legislation. Max Fox Electrical carry out electrical testing and tagging
using approved testing equipment and testing methods. Data logs are automatically updated at the next test and inspection.
A number of businesses and companies in Tamworth rely on us to test and tag their equipment. We are contracted for testing and tagging of power tools by many industrial clients as well.

Quotes & Estimates:
Written quotations are valid for 30 days. Verbal quotes expire the same day they were made. All typographical and clerical errors are subject to correction.
All products will attract GST at a current rate. GST will be shown as the amount on quotes/estimates and invoices.
Terms of Payment:
For all account customers, having successfully completed an account application and granted an account, shall be as per the agreed credit terms. All other transactions are due on receipt or collection of goods and/or services.
ANY account paid OUTSIDE the set CREDIT TERMS will attract a penalty and any goods or equipment supplied at a discounted price will be recharged at full recommended retail price and no discount shall apply.
All jobs brought in to be repaired by customers other than account customers will be charged a $25 book-in fee. This price will come off the total of repairs if decided to go ahead. If you donít want the item repaired the $25 will not be refunded as it covers the time spent inspecting your item.
The manufacturers' warranty will apply to all equipment purchased. Proof of purchase will be needed for all warranty claims prior to work commencing.
Warranty covers the repair/replacement of faulty equipment but does not cover travel, labour for removal/replacement of equipment or freight cost.
ALL warranties are to be returned to our shop (or supplier if need be) for inspection to determine faults before ANY item will be replaced or repaired.
Warranty does not cover goods that have been tampered with or have been dismantled by anyone other then the service agent.
After hours call outs: A fee applies! This fee is not covered by any manufacturers' warranty; manufacturers' warranty applies during normal business hours ONLY.
Any order placed with Max Fox Electrical - Inland Solar may only be cancelled by agreement in writing by the company/person and upon payment of a reasonable cancellation fee to cover costs incurred and or by any restocking fees and freight charges.
Goods Return Policy:
Agreement to return goods/equipment for credit must be in place before the goods/equipment are returned.
Goods may be returned for credit provided that the return agreement is initiated within fourteen days of original purchase date for goods in question.
Goods must be in new condition and original, unmarked packaging.
Goods accepted for credits, which were ordered in will incur a restocking fee. Goods that are not saleable will not be credited. Goods must have proof of purchase and reason for return. Goods which have been made to individual requirements will NOT be credited or accepted for return.
Freight will be paid by customer except goods being returned on a dispatch error.
